I'm going to preface this by saying that these are by far some of the prettiest stools that I've ever seen, everything about them is gorgeous, especially the finish on the seat top. We have a bunch of these that we use as dining chairs and for wooden bar stools they're decently comfortable, the backrest has the perfect amount of give, never enough that you ever feel like you're going to snap it but enough that it's got some bounce in it
