FAQs
Q1. What is included in the Country Collection?
A: The Country Collection covers Perrin & Rowe's traditional styles - Picardie, Aquitaine, Celeste, Alsace, and Provence ranges. You can choose bridge taps, monobloc mixers, wall-mounted taps, pillar taps, spray rinse models, filter taps and matching instant hot water taps.
Q2. What is the difference between Picardie, Aquitaine, Celeste, Alsace and Provence?
A: All five are traditional country styles but with different detailing. Picardie is a classic C-spout with elegant curves, Aquitaine is more robust and period-inspired, Celeste has a softer, rounded country look, Alsace features distinctive fluted detailing, and Provence is our most rural country look and a farmhouse style. All are available as bridge or monobloc mixers with lever or crosshead handles.
Q3. Does Country Collection come with a spray rinse?
A: Yes. Most models offer a version with a separate pull-out spray rinse with 1.2m hose - ideal for butler and belfast sinks. It must be ordered as a 2-hole model.
Q4. Can I get a matching filter tap?
A: Yes. The Country Mini and Country Filter Taps match the collection perfectly and provide filtered cold water alongside your main mixer.
Q5. Lever or crosshead handles - which is better?
A: Levers are easier for daily use in busy kitchens. Crossheads give an authentic period look. Both use the same ceramic disc valves and are available with porcelain or metal indices.
Q6. What finishes and pressure do I need?
A: Available in chrome, nickel, pewter, gold, bronze and brass (polished/satin). Most Country models need minimum 1 bar pressure, pillar taps need 0.2 bar. All are made in England from solid brass.
